Hello all it's nice to meet you! My names Joe. I live in eastern Missouri. I live on my family farm that hasn't been active since my grandpa passed. After my dad passed I got the farm and have been slowly working to build it back up. So far I've just got chickens and a garden but am working on turkeys and possibly pigs this year.

Modern society has been a poison for me. I've gone through alot of ups and downs and spent several years taking care of my dad after a stroke which while I am glad I did it caused alot of setbacks in my life.

I'm moving forward though and want to be better both as a man and a human in general.

Welcome to the forum!

Chickens are a good animal to start with.

I am looking forward to learning more about your chickens.  And turkeys and pigs when you get them.

Cool! My folks used to live about six miles due north of you (across the highway from the Daniel Boone Home). Congratulations on moving forward!

Hi Joe,
North Central MO here.  Long time supporter of Paul but I am so rural that I rarely get internet access unless I drive to a city to use the library WiFi.  I’m a bit o a Luddite too. Don’t make the forum very often.  There is a wealth of info. here gained through experience.  Enjoy and make the most of it. 😊

That is so lame! You now get a slap from this tiny ad!
