This page is to share and discuss the design of solar electricity stuff!

Solar power is the process of making electricity from the sun's energy. This can be done directly with photovoltaics or indirectly with concentrated solar power. The photovoltaic effect is how photovoltaic cells turn light into an electric current.  For the 2023 PTJ, let's bring some solar power to another spot in the Lab.  Maybe Cooper Cabin?  Or maybe somewhere else?  Let us know what you think!

Is Leviathan staying near Cooper Cabin indefinitely? Is it considered underpowered to handle both the cabin and potential saw mill duty?

I saw disconnected panels on top of Allerton Abbey last month. What kind of electrical infrastructure is in place there?

To see a really cool example of solar at Wheaton Labs, you should check out this tour of the Love Shack!  It's one of the skiddable structures at Wheaton Labs that is off-grid and utilizes solar technology.
