Hello permies!

First post and introduction. I've recently moved to Colorado Springs and am looking for community and homesteading living options.

I've worn many hats with off-grid living, traveling and living like a pioneer. Earthship and natural building materials are a focus for sustainability for me and I'd love to meet others in their journey with it. Other homesteaders looking for an extra hand is also an interest to keep my skills sharp and ever-growing.

Please feel free to contact me anytime if you are a local to the area or looking to move here in the near future.

Hi Emily and Welcome to Permies!

I've added your thread to the Rockies Forum, which hopefully will alert your neighbours.

Check out the building category for some of the natural building projects that other Permies are sharing, we'd love to see your projects too if you would like to share them with us!

To get started you might like to go to this thread which gives links to lots of useful thread on How to do things on Permies, like post pictures and search for topics.

Great to have you here!

Hi Emily. I’m a Denver area native and have a 40 ac plan near San Luis co. Always looking for like-interested folks to develop a perm. spot there .

I often pass through the Springs in my way there and can help with a project if your in one. Arborist, have tools, able.

Hi Emily,

We started out last September on 35 acres in North Central Fremont County (between Cripple Creek and Salida). There are some great resources in the Springs - shoot me a message and I can connect you!

Hello Emily, Edward, and Evan.

I just moved to Denver and i'm looking to get into the permaculture scene.

Let me know if any of you need help with homesteading projects.

Love,

-Joey

It's a tiny ad. At least, that's what she said.
