Day 2 (2nd boot camp experience)

Taco Tuesday
This boot landed on a Sunday afternoon by accident
Coincidentally it was the the same window frame as when boots are instructed to arrive
So no one really thought much of it
Or maybe it’s because deep down
Like down in the roots
We all knew that
I’d be back

Today I bled the air out of fuel system on Rex
Took inventory and measurement of the new bob tarp system
Patched up some electrical at the lab pump house
Cleaned up the shop a bit
And played with kittens!!!
Black spark whacked my hand with claws when she found me petting G Squirrel.. unnecessary roughness.. I’ll be keeping my distance from her for three months or more.. i didn’t know cats could be like that.. lesson learned—don’t pet cats around black sparks reach! Aye aye aye

Grateful for kittens

Played in the garden
with a sickle in my hand
Mostly right handed
And sometimes it’s fun to go lefty

Did some scooping with Rex at arrakis
Shovels too, to find the T junctions
It’s kinda scary bc Rex..!
