Spent some time in the shop today beginning to put together a little dining table for the Abbey. I’ve been rescuing some of the scrap lumber from under the snow behind the shop and planing and sanding it—a lot of it cleans up surprisingly nicely.

That's a really nice shelf for the berm shed, and a lovely table as well.  You're developing some fine woodworking skills!  (Unless you already had them, I suppose.)

Thank you, Julia! I definitely did not have any woodworking skills upon arrival, and was in fact mildly trepidatious about power saws. Josiah has a fair amount of carpentry experience, so I’ve been picking up a little as we go and have started attempting some basic projects on my own.

Hi Jen. I see you found a good way to use that wool yarn. You'll show us that insert when you finished it and it's in front of the door window, I'm confident.
