Nothing special about that.  It is Dec and I just used up the last of our fresh tomatoes …a new personal best.

Spaghetti just seems to tick all the boxes this time of year.  We were done with fresh tomatoes, but still have some mini eggplants and Hungarian wax peppers in boxes hanging on.  So grateful for these when the days are darker and cold.

On the other hand, only 18 more days until the days start getting longer. I love Winter Solstice, six months of days getting longer every day.
Solstice. Almost there. Then life is good. Every day.

I hear you about winter solstace, pretty soon it will start getting lighter again, no wonder northern cultures celebrated it for milenia, and many people still do.

Well Jim, you have just given me a new goal for next year. Fresh tomatoes on the Solstice in ‘24.
