I have found that there is no better way to intice a feral swarm into domestic cultivation like rot resistant wood.

I salvaged a stack of rounds leftover from some felling/milling. and put them to this purpose.
I got the idea when the bees decided to build on a pile of lumber sitting out in the rain. Why not give them a bit more rain protection.


Dividers to keep their space small at first.

I drilled the entrance hole in the knot so they have a space to land on.
