This is a very timely post by Low Tech Magazine - right as I am thinking about and planning a small solar system for our sauna at the cottage!

Yes, talk about great timing!  I've always loved Low Tech Magazine, but basic tutorial articles like this are my new favourite I think

Look up the first issues of Home Power Magazine. in their early days each article had circuit diagrams and drawings.  Eventually it just became a mouthpiece for the advertisers but it the beginning it was truly about Alternative power.
