I have a 3 year old lactating Saanen doe, who became ill today. When I went out this morning to feed, she was laying outside, shivering, and reluctant about getting up. When I got her on her feet, I noticed that she was having greenish, ploppy diarrhea, and did not eat when I put hay out. I am not seeing any cud chewing, though she is sometimes belching without producing cud. She is staring off into space, and has a sub-normal rectal temperature reading of 100.5. What might this be? I have administered baking soda and colloidal silver in a large dose. She seemed to improve slightly, and became interested in her kid for awhile, but now seems to be drooping again.
I agree. Here's the link: http://stoves2.com
