I find the entire concept of the rocket mass heater fascinating!  It is much less expensive to run, buildable by most anyone and super efficient!  Paul just added this teaser video about a movie he is creating with three RMH builds.  Each build is for a RMH in a different area, each with a different goal.  The shop RMH needs to heat a big space really quickly.  A cabin RMH goal also needs to heat quickly but also needs a good mass to keep it heated.  In the library, the rocket mass heater was rebuilt to improve the mass heating the room.

The first I heard about Rocket Mass Heaters was on one of Paul's YouTube videos.  It has been on my bucket list ever since!  I'm handy but am not much of a builder so I proceeded to buy plans to guide me.  I'm glad Paul and his team take the time to experiment with their rocket mass heaters to make improvements I can use.  This saves me the time and money of having to do it myself.  My old fireplace doesn't even come close to this type of heating.  I can't wait to upgrade!

Anyone else make interesting upgrades for different spaces?  I would love to hear about them!
