In an attempt to customize the home screen for the forums for myself, I was tinkering with the "top forums" in the right margin area. I hit the 'x' button, which I thought would minimize the drop-down for that topic. It completely removed that section from the list, and I cannot figure out how to re-instate the list to full. I tried deleting cookies, logging out and back in etc. It seems that setting is saved to my profile now and I cannot find where, and now the 'most recent' list is excluding any posts that were in those sections that I hit the 'x'. Anyone have solutions?

At the top it says "rate forums" - can you fiddle with that?  Does that help?

Through the 'rate forums' button I can only fiddle with the forums that I did not hit the 'x' for.  The ones I thought I was minimizing just aren't there at all.

Okay I found in the 'edit profile' section under 'site personalization' -  a box entitled "I never look at these categories of forums" with a list "dont show to me on the homepage the categories I selected below", which definitely seems to be related to this, but there doesn't seem to be a way to change the list?

I probably knew the answer to this about six years ago.  I'll look around some more.

This does make them show back up. I guess I'll just go through and throw acorns at everything. Thanks!
