At the Farmers Storehouse yesterday my husband bought me a box of chocolate: or rather, raw cacao with honey and cocoanut, because I am a known to be a chocolate fiend. After reading the product's label and the company website, I am planning to give up all other chocolate for this stuff: Raw Cacao--A Superfood It's fair trade, from South America, and unprocessed.

Here's the website on raw cacao benefits:

Good Stuff Cacao website wrote:Let’s get specific, minerals like magnesium, iron, chromium, anandamide, and theobromine; nutrients like manganese, zinc, copper, PEA-phenethylamine, serotonin, sulphur, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, lignin and chromium; amino acids like arginine and tryptophan; anti-oxidants like oligomeric procyanidins, resveratrol, polyphenols, catechins, epicatechins and more antioxidants than red wine, blueberries, acai, pomegranates and goji beans-combined; vitamins like A, C, E, B1, B2, B5 and B6.

Delicious, and different, and it looks like it will help out multiple body systems! (Not to mention it's a local business for us down here...) Win win win win win!
