Phys.org recently published this article on diversified farming:

https://phys.org/news/2024-04-people-environment-benefit-diversified-farming.html

So much of it pertains to permaculture techniques. Will the world finally wake up to the realization that biological diversity as opposed to monoculture farming retains or even improves upon yields with no downside?

I'm not sure how large phys.org's reach is, but Google News picked up the story and is giving it a wider audience.

Another step toward world domination? We can hope. Please share the link with people you think might benefit!

At least one person is getting wise.  Just bought a house that has enough land to do some serious gardening and am learning about permaculture to grow food.
There's a guy on tictoc spreading the message.  I bought his book and found your forum looking for a community near me.
Anyone here near southern Colorado?

I like the idea of how the study focused on improved biodiversity, food security, and effects on yields. That is the kind of focus that will help monoculture farmers reassess practices to embrace more ecologically minded practices for better yields that result in a better planet.

Thanks for sharing this link! In our experience diversified farming works, especially in rural areas. Many mainstream farmers advise, not to go 'wide', and focus on one system. I couldn't disagree more.

And tomorrow is the circus! We can go to the circus! I love the circus! We can take this tiny ad:
