These piglets are exactly 1 week old and at the end of the (very short)
video you can see them all eating dirt. That's something that pigs raised on
concrete never get to do! Not only do they get minerals that way but also all kinds of soil organisms to populate their guts, and exposure to bacteria while they have the benefit of their mother's
milk - giving them immunity and antibodies to things they'll encounter.
They are full pot belly. Mom is around 2 years old, FYI. We're selling the runtier ones as pets (like that white one with black spots on her head) and keeping the larger/fatter ones as food/replacement breeders. These pigs do phenomenally on pasture - they are FAT from just grass and soaked oats. My other one is a pot belly/tamworth cross and he's so much leaner than the full pot belly pigs (tho no taller).
