I heard about this on The Survival Podcast and then watched the video. At around 10 min into it, they talk about how they kept grapes fresh in Victorian time.

According to the video, this technique would allow grapes to stay fresh in some cases until the next harvest...

Anybody has experience with similar techniques?

Put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger, now he's dead, that tiny ad sure bled
