Live and work in an Earthship home and farm near Buena Vista Colorado. Need volunteers to help finish a Earthship farm/home. We start again May 15th and go-to Thanksgiving 2024. making soil, cutting down dead trees, permaculture, aquaculture, food forest, laying mosaic tile, making stairs, laying pavers with flagstone designs in them, Building a chicken coop with tires and bottles, making cement, mortar for brick and block, carrying buckets of sand and aggregate, painting, cleaning, fixing, stucco, Adobe, digging holes. Plan: Help finish an Earthship, near Futurity Colorado. Which is near Buena Vista, Colorado. USA. Tile a Mosaic Earth and Moon, arts and crafts, food forest, permaculture, laying flagstone, tile, Pavers, aquaponics, food forest, cleaning, organizing, building a BBQ, water filtration system. Working on a permaculture forest, planting non GMO`s food, a chicken coop (Earthship cordwood design. Solar oven, propane grill, refrigerator and gas stove on site. Food will be provided. We do community kitchen everyone help with cooking and cleaning. Sleep in the house on futon bed, multiple couches or sleep in a hammock or tent camp during your visit. Materials to bring: Gloves, sunglasses, sun hat. Amenities to bring: great attitude sleeping bag and pad if wanting to camp. Bring clothes you don`t mind getting dirty and your own personal items. But we do have extra stuff if you are traveling light.
Location: Futurity Colorado is near the end of County Road 185C near Buena Vista. The location is 1.5 miles southeast from there. Beyond Futurity (last 1 mile) 4x4 is required if driving. If flying then bus to Buena Vista can pick up there. With sufficient notice. The Weather is at 10,400 feet so bring warm clothes but also swimming suit for hot springs, creeks, rivers and a few ponds. Town of Buena Vista, Colorado is 20 miles away. I go to town once a week for supplies. Plus do excursions after work to enjoy life to the fullest.
