www.powerplucker.com

A chicken plucker attachment for a drill. Video on the website showing its use.

What if the plucker device could be operated by foot pedal?
One person off grid operation.

Hand crank?
A 2nd person needed to turn the crank.
Perhaps a hand cranked, heavy flywheel turning a shaft would enable single person operation.

This guy built one from parts for cheap: London1817 on Youtube

That is extremely cool. And for $35 with free shipping, I think I'd just buy one from this nice family. I'm sure it would take me more than a couple of hours to make my own and I value my own time more than that. Also, I like to encourage innovation by sending money to the innovators.

Sadly, since I've been laid off and we are moving from our larger place to probably 1/10th of an acre in Portland Oregon, I don't know when I'd have need of such a thing! Years ago I was on the Whizbang Chicken Plucker email list, just because I thought that was a cool thing and it was a good source of advice about chicken raising. For the small scale processor, though, this is even better!

I agree. Here's the link: https://richsoil.com/wood-heat.jsp
