Hey there,
I've seen
this post discussing Paul's suggestions of pigs to seal a leaking dam. I have a friend whose geese sealed a new smallish
pond over the space of a year, but I'm interested to know if pretty much any animal's manure/weight are able to seal a
pond, or other considerations...
I'm guessing my
rabbits aren't going to do such a good job of compaction... but how about horses/cattle/goats/chickens even?....
Also: does the steepness of the sides of the dam make an impact there? I'm imagining few
cattle wanting to stand on the side of a steep slope to do their thing... Thanks for your time.
