POST 171 (DAY 178, Thursday, 2021.2.4)
[Evening Entry]

.. today’s work was for the library dock cubbies.. forgot to take pics again.. but I do have some other pics..
.. WELLNESS ASSESSMENT: hands feel better-ish.. been putting on a salve/balm that Jen made recently.. seems to really help.. overall, I feel a mind and body fatigue.. like I need a vacation.. but I honestly don’t think a vacation would help.. maybe I just need to complete more tasks or little projects to give me a boost in energy.. there’s seems to be a lot kind of in the air.. and I love doing one thing at a time.. that reminds me—it’s been a while since I’ve meditated..

Enjoy the pics~!!!

POST 173 (DAY 180, Saturday, 2021.2.6)
[Evening Entry]

.. way past my bed time..

Enjoy the pics~!!!

Ps.. steps to lighting the RMH at cooper cabin; then the principles that I follow:
1) prepare burn material to be lit in quick succession..
2) light some burnable (paper or cardboard) at the ash clean out port of the RMH..
3) light some burnable at the ash clean out port of the side winder stove (this step might be optional but I haven’t tested skipping this step yet)..
4) light the burn stack at the mouth of the sidewinder vertical port inside the stove burn chamber..
5) light the burn stack inside the horizontal burn tube of the j tube in the RMH..
This is what worked for me!!

The principle that I followed to reduce or eliminate smoke back when lighting an RMH system. lighting the RMH at the Cooper cabin is very similar to the batchbox RMH in the shop. 1) create negative pressure system (set the direction of flow), 2) start the fire like a fresh relationship (slow and gentle, observe and listen).. to create the negative pressure system and fire in Cooper cabin, there are 4 points to light.. the “negative pressure system” is basically create the draw of air by heating up the chimney exit pipes from the ash cleaning port (RMH first, then the stove).. then light the actual burn chamber area of the stove, then light the burn chamber area of the j tube in the RMH.. this results in minimal to zero smokeback.

POST 175 (DAY 182, Monday, 2021.2.8)
[Evening Entry]

.. community living.. sheds light on personal issues.. it doesn’t necessarily cause them (like I used to believe).. rather it reveals area of me that I maybe have room for growth.. feelings of frustration often indicate a hunger for control.. one must ask self—is it true??.. what am I really missing by letting things be?.. what am I really missing?.. perhaps nothing at all..

Enjoy the pics~!!!

Ahh.... cats and coat hooks. They don’t just mess up woodpiles. I was one branch nub away from completion and a certain kitten decided to bat it around and now I’m having to hunt! Nope. It’s faster to just peel another one.
