It's great to see all these people in Minnesota interested in permaculture! I was wondering if anyone is in Minneapolis to compare and contrast ideas and techniques you use on your garden In the cities.
Maybe in the future starting up neighbor produce exchanges seeing as us city folk don't have excessive amount of land to work with it would be nice to get a wider variety of veggies during the summer.

If anyone's interested!

Hi Drew,

I'm in Iowa, but know a lot of MSP Permies.

I'd start with http://www.pricoldclimate.org/

And then come to Iowa for this: http://www.versaland.com/workshops/ (shameless plug)

Best,
Grant

Hello Grant,

It's been a while since you posted but have you been able to find a permaculture community in the Twin Cities? I am in Minnetonka...this is my second summer and am finding it difficult to connect with others around permaculture ideas...

Men call me Jim. Women look past me to this tiny ad:
Support permies and give beautiful gifts to gardeners: permaculture playing cards.
