I'm in New Brunswick, near both Nova Scotia and PEI.  Unfortunately, I need to find homes for my Maremma Sheep Dogs as I am no longer able to care for them.  I have the mom and dad, both 4-5 years old, 8 2+ year olds (3 males, 5 females), and 5 that are 1 year old (2 males, 3 females).   I'm not going to get into why I have so many here, but I'll tell you if you are interested in the dogs.

The mom, dad and the two years olds are all well versed with porcupines.  Most learned very quickly, a couple took two lessons to get the hint.  The one year olds haven't encountered porcupines.

The oldest 10 have been raised around turkeys, chickens, ducks and quail and are pretty good with them.  They all hate birds of prey, ravens and crows, but are fine with smaller birds.  They all hate coyotes and keep them away to the point that some of the local deer will bed down near the dogs if the coyotes pressure is high.  The oldest 10 have also been exposed to bears, bobcats,  lynx and raccoons, but they all pretty much stay away.  The dad once tried to scare away some bull moose in rutting season but quickly turned around and practically ran out of the woods while the mom was too smart to even engage with them.  I think that most of them would be good LGDs and that most of them, probably all, would be great companion dogs.  They really are loving and try to be gentle and they are committed to keeping predators away.

They have all been raised both inside and outside and have all slept with me in bed, though it's mostly the girls inside with me at night while the boys are kept closed in in outbuildings.  They are all very loving, love to snuggle and get petted, and aren't aggressive to people who visit, though that's rare.  They do hate cyclists, bark at pedestrians, and dislike vehicles that drive by slowly.

The dad is about 130lbs and the boys range from 70ish to 110ish, while the girls range from 55lbs to 110lbs.  I am not able to meet anyone, but I am open to have you visit to see them.  I don't have much time before they need to go, so please send me a private message and I'll send you my phone number.  I would prefer to talk instead of text, if that's OK.
