homemade Yurt help? Billboard vinyl, etc.

My partner and I are on the homestretch of building a Yurt from scratch, but we have some questions before we go forward. If anyone has experience with gluing billboard vinyl (what we'll be using for the roof and wall fabric) let me know the DOs and DONTs. We can't really afford to screw up and need to get in this beast before the Fall rains.
