In my efforts to get it established, I find that it grows well here but the sheep eat it first and so far have kept it from seeding, so the grasses and clovers tend to shade it out. I've seen a pasture on a nearby farm where it was part of a multi-species oversowing on a river flat, and it was going great in that setting. The farmer, who grows store lambs, said that it was one of his best-performing paddocks in terms of dry matter production.
