I'm a recent graduate from Tufts University who would rather spend this winter working on a farm in the Southwest than cramped in an office. I spent my time at college studying what I like to call "agricultural anthropology" because I like working with plants, animals, and the land, and because I love engaging the intellectual side while I'm working.
I've worked on four "sustainable" vegetable farms on the East Coast and love the work. I have done a fair amount of carpentry work, have experience with chickens, love cooking with fresh foods, really enjoy teaching and learning about all of the aspects of farming, and can't get enough of being outside- no matter the weather.
If you're looking for some winter/early spring help or want someone to watch your farm while you take a vacation, PM me to start a conversation!
