I really want a Fresno shovel. With it I could dig ponds and in ground buildings with my truck and one helper. I've only used one once at Tillers International with a team of oxen. It has the capacity to scoop out about half a cubic yard of earth, haul it and dump it with very little human effort.

Anybody know where to get one?

They show up on craigslist from time to time. They also are hiding back in the trees behind old barns on older farms, if you have any left around there. And antique dealers that deal in large "lawn art" type of farm antiques.

I have thought one would be handy, too.
