In fact I would suggest that even people who do attend the workshop get a copy of this set of DVDs. It is inexpensive and hours of excellent review of the material. You can pause, rewind and watch it over and over. Our daughter Hope, age 10, loves watching the DVD and has seen it many times. She can’t wait to cut meat!
Cole is an excellent and enthusiastic instructor.
I took a hog slaughtering/butchering workshop 2 years ago and he was the butcher for one of the days. That workshop was sponsored by NOFA-VT and was a 2 day affair, $100, lunch included. FYI.
