Meat Cutting Workshop in Vermont 11/8/2013

Cole Ward Meat Cutting Workshop Nov 8th, 2013 in Central Vermont

A valuable opportunity to learn meat cutting from a master.

This is the butcher our family apprenticed with for 18 months in preparation for opening our own on-farm USDA/State inspected meat processing facility a.k.a. the butcher shop.

If you can not make it to the class then definitely get Cole’s meat cutting DVD set. You can order it directly from Cole at colethebutcher@yahoo.com via email.

In fact I would suggest that even people who do attend the workshop get a copy of this set of DVDs. It is inexpensive and hours of excellent review of the material. You can pause, rewind and watch it over and over. Our daughter Hope, age 10, loves watching the DVD and has seen it many times. She can’t wait to cut meat!

Cole is an excellent and enthusiastic instructor.
I took a hog slaughtering/butchering workshop 2 years ago and he was the butcher for one of the days. That workshop was sponsored by NOFA-VT and was a 2 day affair, $100, lunch included. FYI.
