repurposed traffic cones into killing cones

We found some vinyl traffic cones on our property when we bought it. Recently we made them into killing cones by cutting the tops and bottoms off and screwing them to a piece of timber. We set the whole contraption on a pallet compost bin. It really worked well, the vinyl hugs the birds nicely so they can't squirm very much. Also easy to break down and store when not needed.

wow, we use pretty much the exact same thing.

only difference is ours has to legs to hold it up, instead of the pallets.

we have 2 small cones, and 1 larger cones for roosters.
we put a large tub with straw underneath to catch all the blood, them compost it. looks like you saved that step.

edit: ours looks sort of like this, but without the gutters and the tub is directly underneath:
