I think goats could weed potato fields

So I've had Goats in weedy a potato patch many times for several hours at a time and they've shown no interest in the potato plants, but plenty of interest in the weeds around them.

Could be a good technique for weeding and fertilizing a potato field.

Just a tip

Thanks for the tip...I have alot of taters and just got goats...next year I may have to try this.....

My potatoes were killed by (I presume) deer. As soon as they came up it was one bite to get it back to ground level. As they tried to come back up, the same happened till there were none.

based on this I wonder if the crop needs a head start before putting goats on them?
