Would comfrey and strawberry grow well next to each other? Or would the comfrey "down-out" the strawberry?

Last Friday I planted 2 comfrey roots and 4 strawberry plants and a bunch of snap pea seeds as a guild under my Stella cherry tree. So I say try it in your area and see how it goes. If it works out for one of us but not the other, we can collaborate and figure out why.
