Hi everyone.

We have permies and wwoofers scheduled for early May 2014 for sure, and prospective permies possibly scheduled for July/Aug although not yet confirmed. Please contact me if you'd like to come later in May, and for the rest of the summer. We've spoken to a variety of permies and wwoofers and welcome hearing from you. Thank you, Jules

We are a homestead farm and a great place to learn how to homestead yourself some day.

We've got it all on a small scale, llamas, bees, organic gardens galore. Two greenhouses. We are a busy couple this season. I'm in school and my husband works full time.

We welcome a mom and child, two people, a couple, and maybe even a dog if it's small and likes llamas. We have five cats too so hopefully the smallish dog likes cats

Bee and cat allergies not conducive to this environment. Llama lovers a plus.

There's a private cozy bright beautiful loft for you apart from the house. We all will share the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Helpful if you have your own transportation, including a bicycle to ride when you are free, and can contribute your favorite foods to our very healthy organic meals. I buy everything bulk so we eat very well

We will share at least one community meal per day.

We don't sell our produce but we share and trade with neighbors and folks who need food. Our meat comes from our neighbors, including vension, beef and chicken. Local eggs too.

Cherry Plain Sanctuary Farm is located east of Albany by about 30 miles, near the Berkshires, Williamstown MA, Kripalu, and Bennington, VT.

Great location, hoping for at least one month commitment. Work week is easy, 25 hours per week of mostly gardening, occasional trail work. Hope you like to bike, sail, rock climb, hike, perform asanas, and enjoy the great outdoors.

We also own and caretake 80 acres of beautiful raw mountain land with fresh springs only an hour away in nearby VT, if you have a craving to be alone in the great outdoors. Got camping gear? It's only 42 miles to Avalon, our VT land. You can bike to the mountain, hike up about 1/2 mile with your bike and gear, then camp out for a few days. That's a trip I'll be happy to take with you if we are all available at the same time.

More about me: I'm a cyclist, ski patroller (snowboard), community yoga teacher, EMS professional, writer and student. My husband is a full time attorney.

We've had great success with wwoofers and organic farm foodies each season, looking forward to hearing from you too if you crave the adventurous life and want to come home to a cozy loft by the fire, with hammocks hanging in the pavilion for reading and chilling out.
