There seems to be a rather huge tidying up phenomenon now that Marie Kondo has a Netflix series. So much so, that I ran across this, which made my day.

I have to admit, I have never thought to thank my drains after cleaning them. It's certainly a good idea, as is cleaning them... I did clean one the other day, probably need to get the other one too.
Spring cleaning! Clean out your drains!!
I already tidied up my room
Garage is a different issue, though.

I want to get going on spring cleaning... I need to, and I know it. It's already the latter part of February. Sure, there's still snow & ice on the ground outside. And we could get another quite-cold spell, or even a considerable snowfall. But...

I need to tidy up my basement shop area, my office room, and our big shed outside with the lumber rack, tablesaw, vehicle-related odds & ends. It'll make life easier. I tell myself: "bit by bit", I've done it many times before, I can do it again. 😧

Do it, do it.

Anyone else feeling this way?

But yeah, I’m feeling the spring cleaning time here too. There has been more sun and it reveals dusts and the dirty windows and all the clutter is more visible to the eye and mind.

Bit by bit, as you said, and enjoying the results for a while rather than moving straight on to the next task!

I like the idea of spring cleaning, even if it is a little early.

Lately, I have had to do some early spring cleaning. I clean out the laundry room and haul a bunch of coffee cans, leftover building supplies, gardening junk, etc.

Put some stuff in the workshop to store instead of the laundry room.

It is a good thing we did the early spring cleaning because my freezer is going out and we needed room to get around the freezer. Moving stuff out of the freezer into other places was a lot like another early spring cleaning.

Good to hear I’m not the only one who has their laundry room turning into storing random stuff -room every once in a while..

This is our second winter in this house and there are still shelves and closets that are in the state of ”I’ll just put these here while thinking for a better place for them”. Somehow all the shelves got filled and not its a pain in the butt to re-organize. I have one shelf that is full of baby clothes that havent been touched in… at least six months?

Oh well, you can clean later in life but the toddler is a toddler for suuuuch a tiny moment so organized closets are not a priority at the moment.
