Would you buy goats from a herd that has not been tested?

I found some fresh heavy millers from a small family farm that are friendly, used to bing hand milked, and raised around kids (the human kind). They are within my budget as they are just downsizing because they have too many for their family to use all the milk. As a family and not a farm or breeders they say they were nev concerned with testing for CAE or Jhonns disease and all three generations of goats seem healthy and hardy.
Is it a risk I should take? Would paying for one to be tested be enough or would each goat have to be tested? I really don't want to mess up just because I'm being to frugal...
