I wanted to put together a single thread that had links to all of the podcasts with Paul and Geoff Lawton. These two have covered a wide range of diverse and innovative topics. A total of 15 podcasts adding up to more than 18 hours of listening fun.

Eleven podcasts are Paul and Geoff discussing everything from the current state of permaculture to curriculum for permaculture homeschooling. Several of these are in Q&A format. I have listened to most of these podcasts multiple times. My personal favorite Paul and Geoff podcast? When they talk about swales in a cool climate in #228.

Watching his PDC, Geoff looks like a pretty tall dude. I think Paul's just a bit of a giant.

Awesome list! I find myself listening to their interviews over and over again. Geoff says a lot of inspiring stuff that stirs up a sense of a “movement” in permaculture.

I don't get it. The links don't seem to lead to being able to listen to the podcasts. Am I missing something?

Oops, we'll, maybe it's just the first two that don't work. The third one was fine. Now to try the fourth.

Sue,

The podcasts that are currently not available are being updated so that people can listen to them once again.

Here is a link to a new thread with podcast 089 available.

https://permies.com/t/37626/podcast/Geoff-Lawton-Part

As these get updated I will update this thread so that the links point to the updated content.

A.J.

Sue,

Here is a link to podcast 090. This one has been tested out so it should work as well.

Thank you A.J. Gentry for bringing all of Geoff Lawton's interviews together.

I had the good fortune back in the 1980's of studying with him and Bill Mollison, Geoff's mentor; this has taken me back on a journey to my past and my introduction to permaculture.

I have been following his re-greening the desert project and hope Paul can get an interview on his successes working with the local people, he is an amazing and humble man who is still accomplishing great things on a global scale as well as continuing running his permaculture courses back in Australia.

Many thanks A. J. it's great to follow the progression of permaculture through his eyes and hear the reviews on his interviews that were offered by Paul back then; so much has happened since they were done.
