greenhouse kickstarter support forum

I used a different email for the Kickstarter too.  Same address but at gmail.  What do I have to do to tie it to this account?

Click on "my profile" at the top and then "email preferences".   Scroll down to the stuff about "Add secondary email" ....

I followed the link emailed to me for the support forum. It said I have 'insufficient privileges' to get into the forum.

Now what?

According to kickstarter, you did not back this kickstarter.  

If you are using an email address on kickstarter that is different than the email address you use on permies, then click on "my profile" at the top and then "email preferences".   Scroll down to the stuff about "Add secondary email" ....

I just found out that a bunch of people will be added in a few hours ...

My kickstarter email (which I failed to update) is different from my permies one.  I added my kickstarter email as my secondary email on here. I click on the link to the forum and I am not able to get in.

Ok.
I had posted that I couldn't access the support forum.  I still can't using the link in the e-mail I received.  However, while I was looking through the list of other forums, I found one labeled "private".  I clicked on it and, now I am in the support forum.  People might want to try that as well to see if it works for them.  I haven't actually logged out and back in to see if it still works, but since it's in a separate forum tab, I would imagine it should work.

so, when I view my profile it has an email that has been defunct for maybe 10+ years.  The company doesn't even have email service anymore.  I have been thru this before... like the Rocket Mass Heater and maybe one other.  I update my email but then a new Kickstarter comes out and I can't log in.  Keep in mind, I received the email to my correct email - but Permies has a different defunct one on file.  I am reluctant to update my correct email thru "My profile" as it could put me in a no-man's land.  Please advise

Make the leap!  If there are problems, we will fix it.  

I realized I used a different email for the kickstarter. Added it to my profile. Did get into support forum after all.

I checked that my email is the same for both Kickstarter and Permies. My payment has been cleared at Kickstarter and my bank.  got email update #17 and #18 and tried the links a few times. I am still getting the “oops. You don’t have sufficient privileges...” message on the site. What’s me next step?

When I try to get to The Forum it tells me,

Oooops.. You don't have sufficient privileges to access this forum?

It seems like quite a few others have had that issue too. I think I'm logged in but I'm not certain! LOL I've never used your site before so this is new to me.

First, I had trouble with payment but now should all be fine. But I still can not access the forum.
I double checked my email address - it matches but I did not receive an email with following subject for this kickstarter:

   [permies] You have been added to a private forum

can you have  a look whats going on?

Weeeird, I'm checking the backer report, and not seeing your permies email on it. Maybe you have a separate email you used for kickstarter? You can add multiple emails to your profile under profile settings. Maybe try adding in some of your alternative emails there?
