I tried fermenting the pellets for the broilers this year.  While I think it made them healthier I saw no savings in feed or any greater size at the end.  Going forward I'll ferment their feed for 3-4 weeks then transition them to dry feed.  It's too much work otherwise for no discernible benefit.
