Obviously this is a trick question. Besides all the mouth watering sandwiches already mentioned there are also fried eggs sandwiches, peanut butter with banana, Philly cheese steaks, meatball sandwiches, chicken fried steak sandwiches with cream gravy, tuna melts, lobster sandwiches, shrimp & oyster po' boys, plus good ol' TX brisket sandwiches. Seriously, pick just one?
If I absolutely had to pick just one sandwich to eat every single day it would be the brisket sandwich from https://saltlickbbq.com/
Argue for your limitations and they are yours forever.
I like to make a large pork roast for dinner one night and have sandwiches from it the next night. My three favorite sandwiches for leftover pork roast are banh mi - pork, salami, pickled daikon, carrot and cucumber with mayo on a baguette, cuban - pork, ham, swiss, pickles on a roll with mustard, and french dip - pork and au jus on a roll.
The second sandwich is called a Croque Monsieur - this translates as Mr Crunchy
A croque monsieur is a grilled ham and cheese sandwich that often has melted cheese on top and is found in most cafés throughout France. The name comes from the French verb croquer (“to bite, to crunch”). The melted cheese is sometimes a cheese sauce.
For a final touch, I spread more Mornay on top of the closed sandwiches,.
Cheese and mayo between bread slices with the sandwich dipped in batter and deep-fried. I can feel my heart valves flutter just at the thought! :) Tried one once with ham and it was pretty astounding, although not something you want to eat everyday....
Technically not a sandwich, but this time of year and any time of day, toast with either basil/almond pesto or salty hummus then topped with ripe or nearly so tomato slice. Buonissimo!...
