Two years ago I bought 50 Myrobalan rootstocks with the intention of grafting them over to various plums in the spring of 2014, however life got in the way and I've now got some rather large 2 year old Myrobalan trees...Also, I'd now rather have more peaches than more plums. Doing a bit of research shows that peaches directly on myro have problems, but I was wondering if anyone has had any luck using an interstem graft between the peach and the myro. It looks like peaches are somewhat compatible with being grafted on to apricots, and apricots can be grafted onto myro so I was thinking of using an apricot interstem graft. If anyone has tried such a thing, I'd be interested in knowing which cultivar of apricot works the best.

**Yes, I know that going back in time and buying Lovell or some other peach rootstock instead of myro would be preferable, but dealing with that option today would involve ripping out a bunch of really health trees.
