POST 272 (DAY 282, Tuesday, 2021.5.18)
... grateful for a restful night with pleasant dreams (of kittens playing)..
... grateful for john, my long time friend from high school.. we used to eat nacho cheese with fries, back when that was a highly desirable lunch snack..
... grateful for observation classes, where we learn about patterns and anti-patterns occurring in nature, and share with each other our different experiences..
... my sense of smell is picking things up unusually well.. tester I identified ginger and sandalwood (from across the room) accurately.. this morning a blueberry smoothie (from the other room)..
POST 274 (DAY 284, Thursday, 2021.5.20)
... grateful for refreshed perspective via folks who listen to understand, even when I don’t fully understand yet.. it helps my brain/soul process.. it’s a big world, yet everything is connected somehow.. so we can choose to help it along in small ways, by redirecting some water to a thirsty plant.. we’re here as gardeners of the galaxy.. ;)
... grateful for quality time spent with interested and giving individuals.. what a gift to share—this synchronized rhythm of being in time to learn and experience.. stayed up talk with M til 10:30–this is way past my usual 8:30 bedtime.. we talked about everything and nothing in a way.. while munching on fresh cracked pecans that somehow tasted like a maple syrup cascade..
... grateful for experiments.. the spirit of trying something new, in order to observe and/or optimize what can become of imagination.. quite magical in a way..
POST 277 (DAY 287, Sunday, 2021.5.22)
... grateful for things of ease that bring freedom and joy.. went into town yesterday to sell my car.. it took about 30 minutes from the time I drove on and then got a ride off the lot.. I was making it a bigger deal than it actually was.. I had feared being without a car for the first time since high school.. I was attached to the idea of “freedom” granted by vehicular mobility—and when I detached, I saw that “freedom” was merely an engraved impression scratched onto the steel shackles.. the key to release these cuffs was to release the car keys themselves, because I had been holding onto them so dearly.. so I got home and E made us some gnocchis (“no-keys”).. on the way home, I was wondering how I’d like to celebrate with the others.. a meal with no keys gnocchi—how serendipitous..!
... grateful for peace of mind in not having a car in my name.. it’s truly tremendous..
... grateful for the folks who helped get me to where I am.. friends who supported my decision, friends who offered to let me borrow their vehicles, friends who offered to give me a ride.. you know who you are.. :) thank you.. I’m reminded again that supportiveness is the wind beneath wings..
Needless to say I’m feeling some heightened emotions of positivity and possibility..!!
... Enjoy the pics ~!!!
