This week Dawn Combs will be joining us to talk about all sorts of medicinal herbs and how to use them in conceiving babies and then raising them.

There are four copies of her book, Conceiving Healthy Babies up for grabs.

Dawn will be stopping by on the forum over the next few days answering questions and joining in discussions.

From now through this Friday, any posts in this forum, ie the medicinal herbs forum, could be selected to win.

To win, you must use a name that follows our naming policy and you must have your email set up in Paul's Daily-ish email.

The winner will be notified by email and must respond within 24 hours.

Posts in this thread won't count, but please feel free to say hi to Dawn and make her feel welcome!

Hi Dawn! Is there anything more stressful than trying to have an "organic baby"? I remember trying so hard (our youngest is 4 now). I remember the rice syrup arsenic revelation... It's so hard to be a parent and feel safe using anything from a store.

Even though we don't have any babies right now, this is such a worthy effort! So needed! Thank you!!

Excited to see this topic and your book on here! This is something I've been learning a lot about and love to soak in new herbal wisdom. I've been drinking nettles, red clover, and red raspberry infusion (read about in Susun Weed's book) and love that there are many common plants that support conception.

Hello Dawn.
I am so happy you wrote this book. It is so important to be healthy for your baby and keep them healthy without using drugs after arrival! thank you!

Thanks Matt! It is definitely not an easy task! It seems like we're always learning something new about the food we are told is safe. As a busy mom with a business and a farm it makes it very difficult to cut any corners in the food department without a great deal of worry and guilt. Sigh, we do the best we can with the information we have each day and tomorrow is another chance to do better. =)

Hi Kathryn,
That's a great combo, not just for conception but for every day and for both men and women!

So I ran the winner picker app in the forum software and we have 2 winners.

Bethanny Parker
and
Carma Nykanen

Congratulations Bethanny and Carma!

I sent you an email to ask for the email address of the person that first referred you to Permies.com. That person (if qualified) will also get a copy of the book and a permies care package.

Who among you feels worthy enough to be my best friend? Test 1 is to read this tiny ad:
