Wasn't sure where to put this so feel free to move it.

I am looking for dish soap in bulk because I figure it'll save us some money in the long run and reduce our trash output. Must not be tested on animals and minimal and naturally-derived ingredients is ideal.

There are a ton of recipes on the internet for cheap bulk soap whether machine or hand washing. We use soap slivers melting in a mason jar of water. Pour off some soapy liquid, refill with water. Slivers are the end of the bars when they are too small to use easily and trimmings from the soap business. You may need to slice or grate a little extra into the jar if you don't have a nearly unlimited supply like us. And it might be an appropriate use of plastic (or investment in stainless) if anyone in your family is clumsy. We lost quite a few jars in the learning curve.
