Anyone have any ideas for a helping to keep a hog waterer from freezeing? Without the use of electricity?
I'm in central illinois, it can stay below freezing here for up to a couple weeks at a time.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Would it work to keep the waterer in their shelter, so that their body heat warms it through the night and some solar gain keeps it through the day?
"the qualities of these bacteria, like the heat of the sun, electricity, or the qualities of metals, are part of the storehouse of knowledge of all men. They are manifestations of the laws of nature, free to all men and reserved exclusively to none." SCOTUS, Funk Bros. Seed Co. v. Kale Inoculant Co.
