POST 339 (DAY 349, Saturday, 2021.7.24)
[Morning Entry]

.... hmmmm I was thinking last night about the 41st hour of the work week.. if the first 40 are “required” duties, what would I do with an additional extra hour that I freely give to the cause?.. more to come of this..
.... these days we’ve been working in the garden and making junkpole.. R, a boot, got to build the junkpole fence THEN go harvest some fence sticks.. I think this order of operation makes a whole lot of sense because now she knows what she’s looking for in a stick..
.... going into a situation with the resolve to “finish what I start” or “see it to the end” or “finish strong” seems to be a musical echo.. to stick to a relationship and figure things out all the way to the end, may seem a daunting task.. the doubt creeps in like cold through the cracks of winter.. it needs attention, care,.. a figuring out.. a sort of stubborn determination to offer love to self and others.. a resolution to stand in the thick and thin, the ups and downs, the slop and muck.. we row on.. because we chose to.. from the beginning.. and because in each moment we can choose again.. one more stroke, one more breath.. just keep swimming..

POST 340 (DAY 350, Sunday, 2021.7.25)
[Morning Entry]

.... a day of fun.. stroll into town late morning for some ramen at one of my favorite restaurants.. then some walking around the second hand department stores where I like to look but not buy.. although—it used to be way more enjoyable before I got here.. now I have no needs for home goods or a growing wardrobe.. my needs are met and practicing consumerism seems unfulfilling

POST 341 (DAY 351, Monday, 2021.7.26)
[Morning Entry]

.... “..I’m just some random guy off the packed reservation list.. and wow—this place has quite the register of ambiance.. I want this restaurant and the sister restaurant downstairs to thrive as a local icon.. I want this place to create that lasting impression that makes each customer want to have a ‘must come back with friends!’ kind of story.. what am I saying? ..hold it, get a fresh batch going, offer another option—and just don’t serve the wilting lifeless cucumber.. it’s out of tune with the symphony that’s going on here.. hey I’m just some random guy off the reservation list, but hopefully also a valued guest.. I want to come back with friends to this place.. but not for the $1 veg that doesn’t work.. for you—you work, our server Katrina works hard I can tell and she’s great!.. the bus boy man he’s really bussing hard and it’s great!.. keep the sad cucumber out of this and bring in the fresh stuff.. that’s all there’s to it.. trust me I know what I’m talking about because I’m that random guy from the reservation list.”
