Hey folks! Have a tiny home? Want a place to park it on 30 acres in northern ca. Let me know. I would love to also help someone build they're own if they want. I have a mill, lots of timber, and I am a veteran builder.
Thanks folks!!

Which county are you in? Nevada county is supportive of alternative buildings, most are not. What is your water like? What are you willing to share and what are you not? What are your expectations of the person living there?

Wonderful offer, just curious about the details!

I am in Mendocino county. I would not worry about building dep. we are very remote and a tiny home is the least of their worries.

My water is a spring feeding the pond and I have a spring from my neighbor that I am using to drink out of.

My expectation is simple. Live on the land, enjoy it. Respect it. Practice perm techniques in a classy way so that it is not a bunch of half finished projects. You don't have to do any projects if you don't want. I simply would like someone from this community on my land becUse I think they would be respectful and would appreciate the land and its full potential.
I can share everything except the small cottage that I built. I need to save that for my family when we come up and also as it is a shared cabin with my mom and dad and sister. Other than that this situation is wide open. Bring ideas motivation and ambition and a good work ethic and I will be ecstatic. Even a bad work ethic as long as you you are a person that understands how to go to the dump and not just let your pile of black trash bags build up in some corner of the property.
All in all if someone has the drive you could turn this into your own little permaculture paradise and become its permanent care taker. I live in mt. Shasta so I am no long living there.

Can more than one person park their tiny home on your property?

How long will a person be able to park their tiny home on your property?

How long do you plan to keep your offer for parking a tiny home open?

I'm slightly curious about the time details because I'm not right now looking for a place to stay this very moment, but after four years, I might be...

Charlie,

Thanks for the wonderful details, I am drafting a private response for you as I am quite interested. I can provide pictures of COMPLETED projects as well as some ideas for future ones that you might find acceptable.

Hi Charley,

I am looking for a property to put a tiny house on long term and tend to the land.  I have my Permaculture Design Certification and would really like to put my skills to use in California near like-minded people.  I am currently living near Dallas, TX and I'm having a hard time finding people who share the same values.  My interests include rainwater harvesting, food forests, composting, improving soil health, natural building and anything that has to do with animals.  If you or anyone you know is interested, please reach out any time stephanie.kimmel26@gmail.com 317-514-2384.  I hope your offer is still available.  Thank you!

Stephanie
