Seed saving is a topic and skill that commonly gets overlooked. I had no idea what was involved before I took a series of classes on the subject. Some seeds like pole and bush beans are straight forward, just shell and dry, but others like tomato need to be fermented in there own juices to remove a coating before being dried or they can mold. Seed saving is also how we can select traits that best suit our environment or needs. To grow food that is more flavorful, more cold hardy or more abundant in its production it would serve us all to at least learn the basics of this valuable skill. This is a kickstarter that aims to share this knowledge and promote seed saving. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/757529692/reclaim-our-seeds-cultivate-diverse-food-with-seed?ref=nav_search

Please check it out, this is not my project, but something I feel is valuable and worth sharing.

Seed saving is probably one of the most important skills a person could learn...... Bar very few.

MOst have tendency to eat them all and then what ?

I am pretty worried about the GMO seeds and even their pollen sharing the same air that my pollen has to use. What gave them the right to unleash on us a pestilance like that???

It will get worse as time goes on I do think also. Today's quick profit has an intrest charge we haven't even began to have to pay.

KickStarter is a great format for getting funded but sometimes it takes a few trys to get the right amount of following. Tell them not to give up .
