Do you care about the future of our food system?

Biotechnology is getting more and more powerful, earning credibility and is overtaking our international agricultural system. Big ag is taking over our food system, promoting expensive, oil intensive based technologies that are not accessible to small and medium farmers, or sustainable for our earth. While permaculture has reached across 5 continents, farms using agroecological practices remain too few and too far between. We need to unite the permaculture community. In order to give permaculture a fighting chance, we have to share support and resources within the alternative farm movement.

I am pioneering a smartphone application with my international team that will build this network for food justice. With this application you will be able to connect with fellow permaculturists in your region or on the other side of the world in order to exchange techniques, seeds, resources, transportation, and ideas. Individuals will be able to look up the profiles of influential permaculture leaders, receive tips, and new recipes for organic fertilizer and pest control. New farms will be able to manage their land online, setting up a production schedule and keeping track of their inputs in relation to what they sell. Producers will be able to market directly to CSAs, restaurants, corner stores, and individuals looking to buy agroecological goods. Meanwhile consumers will be able to learn more about permaculture while supporting their local food system and eating healthy, nutritious food.

We are looking for collaborators, and as a leader in the permaculture world we are reaching out to you. We are looking to turn our demo into a streamlined application that will be made available at no charge across the world within the year. If you have anything to contribute, be it resources, ideas, or funds we want to hear from you! We already have the support of indigenous communities in Uganda, Ecuador, Bolivia, and Costa Rica and are working alongside NGOs across the globe. However, we need some help from you. We are asking for donations of any and all amounts... anything helps! , but any monetary amount that you might be able to contribute as an individual or as an organization would be much appreciated. We need to work together to take the future of agriculture and put it back in the hands of farmers who will serve as stewards of the earth.

In exchange for any donations made by your organization at, we will commit to bringing you a premier version of our application and taking any input into consideration in the design process.

We also have a gofundme page, but prefer wethetrees as it supports permaculture and takes no overhead charge.
