I continue to harvest radishes and lettuce from the garden, but I went ahead and made a compilation video of the garden harvests (from May to November of this year). Watch video below from youtube or go to my blog to watch video here: http://veganslivingofftheland.blogspot.com/2015/11/epic-garden-harvest-photos-may-to.html

Wow that is great Cassie ! Where are you located?

Is this a video of your garden?

If so it looks like you collect a lot of water in the pathways?

Can you tell me more about how you built your hugels? What kind of wood etc. did you use?

Do you have any chickens or other birds?

Yes this is a video of our garden harvests from this year. I am located in Kentucky, and have 10 Hugelkultur mounds-- that I dug and carried the logs, sticks, brush myself from the woods. I think most of the wood is oak. My process was digging ditches, then adding large logs as the bottom layer, then sticks, brush, leaves, compost, dirt, mulch.
We also do not have chickens. There are rabbits that live in the woods behind the house, and they come in and leave nitrogen rich droppings all over the garden, and the birds do too.
