I am in a bit of a bind.  I have a lot of Dungeness Crabs coming in the bay near me.  In fact the last 2 days I have caught my quota in only 2 hours.  As a result, I cooked, cleaned them but I have run out of room in my freezer

What would be the next best way of storing them?  Smoke?  Can?

I'd volunteer to come by with a cooler chest and clean out your freezer so you dont have to stop fishin

I had a friend that had the same problem; but with rainbow trout.  He smoked them; then canned them in 1/2 pint jars.  I don't know why you couldn't do the same with the crab ; smoke them pick the meat out and then can it.
