Think you could start a business harvesting and crushing acorns for chickens to eat?

Question is will they eat them? Also thats a lot of harvesting, I know the turkeys in my area eat the acorns whole but would the still eat them with the bitterness? I have contemplated supplementing chicken feed with acorns for a while. Even considered building a hand cranks rolling mill for 'em.

I've watched the birds and pigeons in one of the larger towns near me feed heavily on crushed acorns, the live oak is used a lot around here as a landscaping tree around parking lots, cars and hard pavement supply the crushing part and the birds are more than happy to clean up the mess. I don't know how much could be fed before the tannic acid became a problem though or even if would in poultry.
