Greenhouse Domes in Windy + Rainy Area?

I'm suggesting to our tribe that we build a geodesic dome for our new greenhouse rather than a standard tunnel greenhouse and they want to see that it has worked for others in this sort of geo-climatic region. Might anyone be able to link me to an example of a successful dome project in SE Alaska, Nova Scotia or the like?

These folks are in Connecticut and use it for aquaponics. It may be helpful or applicable to your area.
