Unemployed architect looking for a free natural building volunteering in Central America

Hello everybody:
I am a young unemployed architect from Nicaragua. I´m 30 years old.
I have enough theoretical knowledge about traditional architecture and differents natural building techniques like cob, adobe, earthbag, etc. I am very self taught in this topic and I try learn new things through internet every day-. However I need to do anything practice with mud to gain experience. I think one option could be build mud benches, a mud oven. I like a lot mud relief work and sculptures too. If you have another option to build, we can discuss about it.

I am looking for a free volunteering opportunity (long term) to work in exchange for vegetarian food and acccommodation.I can not pay for my own food and lodging, because I am unemployed. I hope you can understand my situation. I am a vegetarian guy and I like to eat of healthy way. I like to eat fruits.
I feel a lot interest for build Eco-friendly habitat.

I hope you can offer an opportunity.
Please, if you are interested no hesitate in contact( arqbaltazar1986@gmail.com)
Thanks.

Me gusta comer frutas.

Gracias.

Hola Douglas

We aren't in Central America, but if you can get to spain, we are looking for volunteers to help with an eco-building project this year. http://abrazohouse.org/volunteer

Good luck!

Suerte!

Hi Douglas,
there are some nice projects on the Isla de Ometepe, including Inanitah (www.inanitah.com) that may be interested in your skills! I would recommend reaching out to them! We have a directory where you can search work-trades around Central America - www.numundo.org/

Inanitah charges to volunteers and Liz Johndrow does paid workshops once a year.
Thanks.
